I want to study medicine. I want to be a part of it as it has always been on how medicines work with the physiological body.

I find it really interesting to learn about human anatomy. I enjoy reading articles and journals related to medicines.

Nepalese society is way too much ignorant when it comes to health. Especially in my community, people drink alcohol in diLerent forms. We call it ‘chyang’ when used undistilled and ‘raksi’ most of the time. We use it almost on every occasion. Many have lost their relatives while some others have lost their own parents due to heart related diseases and other complications caused by alcoholism. It takes few days for people to gossip about harmful eLects of alcohol and then themselves start to gulp down every single drop of alcohol they get. I want to rise above this culture and make sure that the paradigm of life is to truely live in peaceful society to live healthy and competent life. Most importantly, I like helping people, so medicine has become purposeful to me.
